**Here is a mini convo that the boys had a few days ago....

Bryson: When I grow up, I want to be whatever God wants me to be.

Hudson: I think He wants you to be a pastor.

**These boys crack me up! Love them!**

my loves....

every year i make a "pink/red" meal for all of my boys! this year, b had the day off of school....so we got to sleep in a bit and enjoy a family breakfast.

i like to get the boys little treats each year. their dishes were a part of their gift(s)....and they are both into hot wheels and legos now (so we got them each a car and a mini fig). i made pink pancakes, pink eggs, pink smoothies...and they each got a bowl of their favorite cereal (healthy/fake lucky charms)!

**funny story- my friend, theresa, picked me up some (very pricey) all natural food dye from whole foods. i was excited to make my boys their "special, approved breakfast!" well, i put the dye into the pancake batter and into the eggs....and the color changed when heated (which the bottle warned could happen). basically, the natural dye turned my pancakes and eggs...um, well....gray. everything looked so disgusting that i decided the dogs could have a special breakfast of their own. i started all over again, with the BAD stuff....and got a more desired color.**

...in the arms of Jesus....

thank you to those of you who have prayed (and continue to) for brielle and her family. brielle is now with Jesus. the bible says...

"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."

(2 Cor. 5:6)

as soon as brielle took her last breath here, she was with the Lord. wow....so incredible! she is no longer in pain. she is fully healed and restored...she is rejoicing and enjoying her new body!

the bible also says....

"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart...."

(Psalm 34:18a)

please don't forget to pray for brielle's family!!

if you have followed my blog for any length of time, you know about brielle.

today, i implore you....please lift her family up in prayer.

it seems as though she will soon be meeting Jesus. of course, the Lord could still choose to heal her- this side of heaven- but she's exhibiting signs that the end of her life on this earth is very near.

my heart is broken for brielle's family. as a mother of two boys...i cannot imagine going through what this family has faced/is facing. thank God they seek Him....moment by moment...day by day. the murray family has been an incredible witness to thousands. please read the updates at www.briellemurray.com and PLEASE pray for this family. pray for brielle and the pain she is experiencing and pray that God's will be done. He could choose to perform a miracle here, or He could choose to take her to her eternal HOME in heaven. no matter the outcome, He is still God...He is still faithful...He never changes....and brielle's family knows that and trusts in Him. i just stumbled across a verse in psalm 139 that says...."Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." the Lord plans our days out and knows every single detail- while we are in our mother's wombs! none of this is a surprise to Him! for whatever reason, He is allowing this. as brielle's mom says on her blog- brielle's life has been radically used by the Lord. maybe that is why He has allowed this....for others to come to know Christ? we cannot know the mind of God. so, we pray and we trust. we seek and we have faith. we surrender to His will.

i praise God for brielle and her family- and for how her life has touched mine and so many others. though i don't know brielle, i had the chance to meet her and her mom a few years back. i got to tell her mom that i was praying for her precious girl. the thing about prayer is that it binds hearts. it's amazing to me...to see people join together in prayer. it's amazing how, even though we may not know one another, we can feel for one another. forever, brielle's life has impacted mine.

Hudson is the king of questions. He asks them ALL the time. He is constantly curious. He often stumps me, and he always makes me laugh. Here are just a few of his questions from the past week....

1 John 4:7-20.....

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us.

By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. B and His Award

Last week, Bryson got an award at school! We were/are very proud of him. He received the Principal's Award (for "most improved" student last quarter)! B is so bright and his teacher loves him! It was fun for us to get to be there (Mimi, Mom, Dad, and Brother)....to see his face light up with surprise and joy!

Me: Well, I'd rather look pretty than ugly. Do I look pretty or ugly?

Hudson: Both.

......Well, thanks a lot, kid. Like I don't have enough insecurity issues.

CD Recommendations

I am LOVING this CD. It's one of those CDs where 'you' just love every song on it! Those kind don't come around too often!!

I love this CD, too!! :) It is lovely. I think you should buy it.
