my parents got bryson a bearded dragon for his birthday. last saturday, we all met at the pet store! we picked out all of the supplies, and got very educated on dragon care! bryson was very excited to pick out his very own pet! he decided to name him "drago."
dragon drama:
okay....so we brought drago home and got him all set up in his new habitat. for several days, i watched him become lethargic...and i noticed that he didn't eat anything offered to him. on tuesday, i told b that we'd have to take drago back to the store, because he wasn't healthy. bryson was so upset (what kid wouldn't be?!) and he cried as we walked into the store with the lizard. the store didn't have any more babies, so we "returned" drago (#1) and they promised to get him healthy again. we went across the street to the competitors, where they had tons of baby bearded dragons. bryson picked out the most active one, and we brought him home. his name is drago, too! he loves to eat, he is friendly and calm when held, and he moves all about his cage! we think he's going to be the perfect pet for b!
